County Q Productions

The B Room at County Q began in the early 1990's as a way to make demo production more efficient. With a second MCI 24 Track Analog Tape Machine and a Sound Workshop console, it created a place where vocal overdubs could be recorded, and the finished songs could be mixed, freeing up the tracking room for more tracking.
Throughout the different stages of its development, County Q's B Room has maintained a reputation as a friendly creative space, featuring a large comfortable control room and a spacious acoustically designed isolation booth. Many of the music industry's top performers and songwriters have spent countless hours fine tuning their songs in the B Room.
A short list includes: Waylon Jennings, Mel Tillis, David Lee Murphy, Colin Raye, Jewel, Richie McDonald, Sarah Evans, and many others.
The B Room switched to digital recording in the late 90's, using the Radar 2 Hard Disc Recorders, and an Otari Status Console with Discmix automation. In 2002, a Pro Tools HD3 system was installed with a Control 24 console and the room is now a fully functional overdub/mix facility in the ProTools domain.
