Comedy for a Cause

Dates:
Monday, October 11, 2021 - 6:00pm to 8:00pm

Join Rocketown and their founder, Michael W. Smith, for a night full of food and laughter with comedian Keith Alberstadt at Comedy for a Cause annual dinner and auction.

Comedy for a Cause is a premier event that celebrates Rocketown’s mission to offer hope to the next generation through Christ’s love. A night of laughter, dinner and inspiring stories will take place during a silent auction. Originally from Nashville, TN, Keith Alberstadt now lives in New York City. He’s been seen on The Late Show with David Letterman, Late Night with Seth Meyers, Last Comic Standing, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, and has made several tours to the Middle East and around the world to entertain US troops.

Inspired by family, marriage, and idiosyncrasies in life that often go unnoticed, Keith mixes light-hearted sarcasm with a southern charm and has become a favorite at corporate events and comedy clubs across the country, including his home club, the world-famous Comedy Cellar in New York City.

This is the time of year when we let loose and express our gratitude for every youth who engages with staff and volunteers through programs and activities at Rocketown. Whether through building trust at the skatepark, counseling by adult mentors, “tea talks” at the coffee bar, support in after school enrichment programs or encouragement in creative arts programs, your involvement helps Nashville youth reach their God-given fullest potential.
