Queen's Empire Ball (A Bridgerton themed Gala)

Queen's Empire Ball (A Bridgerton themed Gala)

Dates:
Sat, 05/11/2024 - 6:00pm to 11:00pm

The 1st Annual Queen's Empire Ball will take place May 11th at the National Museum of African American Music in Nashville, Tennessee.
This is a Bridgerton themed fundraiser for the museum that will feature attendees dressed in Regency era attire with period appropriate entertainment, including a string quartet and a classical violinist playing hip-hop selections with Regency arrangements. Guests will be greeted and announced by a traditional town cryer, and some guests will even arrive in horse drawn carriages.
Queen Charlotte and her court will lead us in celebration with the Queen's Promenade, an awesome charcutier, signature adult beverages, while gazing at the latest edition of Lady W’s social papers, filled with the recent chatter about the community’s aristocratic citizens.
A silent auction in support of the museum and an array of vendors will be on site, while a digital artist will be onsite creating period portraiture. A professional ballroom dance troupe will demonstrate traditional Regency era dances before encouraging guests to join in.
The evening's fashions are expected to be lively and a list of retailers specializing in period garb is listed on the event website.
Let the games begin!
